Pasta is something I used to eat a lot of, but a lot less so now. However, there are a couple of great go to recipes, and ever since seeing a Jamie Oliver cooking demonstration several years ago, that showed, no matter what, a can of tomatoes, a clove or so of garlic, a small onion and pasta can create a meal - he added basil and herbs, but if you don't have those around, or just have dried herbs, it's still a great meal. To make things even simpler, and to get everything cooked in one pan, fresh pasta is great. Especially if you are starving - it is usually only 4 minutes of cooking time.
